When Relume devised it鈥檚 pricing plans was the fact one needs a WebFlow Workspace and then later a WebFlow Site Plan a consideration? In a tough job market the sum of all costs are a bit prohibitive and how would a college graduate or some still in college navigate these costs? Are there discounts offered for college students?
Have you looked into a webflow workspace plan?
I have Syed, as mentioned in my original post and what prompted me to ask the question. The best I was able to come away with for now as a deeper thought and solution to this is to do month to month for the time being
Hey Steve J. I hear you. Subscription costs are never fun. It's a bit of a wrestle at the beginning but once you get a couple clients paying you a few thousand dollars you realise that those subscriptions are well worth it. They are tools to deliver work. My recommendation would be:
Get an annual subscription to save
Dedicate yourself to giving it a good crack for 12 months
If it isn't for you - cancel everything and do something else
Aurelien S. thanks for the response. While great suggestions, I am one of the casualties of the downturn in tech. I went from being easily hired as a UX Researcher for companies like IPSOS, to zero work in over 8 months going on 9. I鈥檓 running on fumes atm. So, I鈥檝e had to pivot to looking at myself as an agency, which I鈥檝e done in the past and in just the last month alone I secured a super tiny project and am actively pursuing a strong lead for another. As soon as I鈥檝e secured a big project, I do plan to go all in on WebFlow and it shouldn鈥檛 take me long to accomplish my goals as it pertains to WebFlow. I鈥檝e built a client experience with it before so it鈥檚 not completely foreign to me.
Sorry to hear my friend. All the best and cheering you on from around the world. 馃實
Thanks for the best wishes Aurelien S..
Steve J. so is the idea that you are using Relume + Webflow to help build out your portfolio? How long do you think it will take to build out your portfolio? Can you send me any kind of resume, linkedin profile or similar? As Aurelien mentioned - taking into consideration the time that Relume saves you, once you have 1 or 2 paying clients, those costs seem less daunting but I can see its easier said than done sometimes so lets put our heads together and see how we can turn things around for you.
