Anyone have a workflow that includes SEO and Relume that they could share. We are trying to figure out the best way to make sure we are managing that well.
Carissa S. did you have any specific areas that you have questions on around this? I could definitely tag in some legends in this space that might be able to guide you a little bit but the question at the moment is very broad and likely would not be possible to answer in a message unfortunately.
Understood. Our current problem we are trying to solve for is we are using Relume as a space for copy and design to collaborate however there isn't an easy way to identify the SEO keywords and meta description or any of the new AI focused optimization we are targeting in Relume. I was wondering how others might be managing this data while using Relume. We are trying to keep Relume as the source of truth for the team during this stage as much as possible.
I鈥檓 also really curious about this! We鈥檙e about to start using Relume and want to understand how others are handling SEO and AI-based optimization workflows alongside it. Especially interested in how people are keeping things like keywords, meta descriptions, and structured data aligned while staying inside Relume as much as possible.
Carissa S. yeah! Totally makes sense. I would venture to guess that many are not using Relume in this way but maybe there are a couple of folks who might be. The real issue is that we don't really provide any fields that are not being used to drive the AI. Meaning, all the fields we have in the product today influence the AI in some way...I wonder if a quick win here would be if we added an open text field that was just simply "Notes" and you guys could hijack this field for your SEO notes?
Oh totally that could work. And to be honest after we use AI for copy and start tweaking things ourselves sometimes its hard to like lock it down so AI doesnt decide to keep trying to randomizing things but thats sort of a different problem.
Carissa S. yeah exactly - right now we regenerate copy based on the fields that are available but if we had a field that AI ignores, that could be used for things like this, or I know Lee would use it differently than this even - seems like something that could be a pretty impactful, easy win.
Hey Matt J. and Carissa S. great topic and definitely worth putting some attention to. Short answer there is no direct solution, but a few thoughts.
I often add "SEO Keyword" in my page prompt. Not sure if it does anything but it is a good place for record keeping
I typically have a template component in figma with a place holder for open graph, SEO title, SEO description
Having a text field in the page settings/area to fill in these blanks and get AI to help would be aweomse --> automatically import into Webflow if the API allows
For copywriting purposes I often export the wireframes as HTML and feed them into ChatGPT to rework, but this gives me mixed results
I don't have a huge focus on SEO right now and I feel this would be more a conversation once the site is live to optimise. It's called optimisation for a reason ... it takes time with real data
Matt J. getting a slug preview/overwrite would also be awesome
If it's mainly about writing Meta title and Descriptions, Webflow is creating them with AI soon (as per recent keynote).
Hi Matt J. & Carissa S. - I don鈥檛 usually. I keep my SEO/Content strategy mostly outside of Relume because with Relume, I really focus more on the pages that I need. Here鈥檚 what I鈥檓 talking about. https://www.tella.tv/video/my-video-a15r
Yeah for now at least I am doing this work outside of Relume, ideally in Claude (before it cuts me off, which it ALWAYS DOES), then pulling in more tactical instructions into Relume. I鈥檇 love to be able to pull this into Relume. I鈥檇 love for Relume to guide me a bit, ask a couple questions to get the ideal inputs for it to generate a sitemap and outline and wirefames with copy.
