Issues with Header 79 Gallery Animation Speed and Collection Setup

Hi, if anyone can help me out with this one, it would be much appreciated:

1.
Why Relume’s Header 79 “Gallery” background columns are now moving much faster than they did originally, after I hooked them up to a collection. I’ve had to increase duration to 200s and it still isn’t as slow and smooth as the original.
2.
Is there a better way to hook it up to my Galleries collection, other than to have a separate collection list for each column (as I have done here)? I have a feeling this configuration might, in some way, be affecting the animation speed.
