Hey everyone! 👋 I was wondering if the team is currently accepting new component requests? I’d love to see more variety when it comes to mobile navigation components. Specifically, something like a clean, full-screen overlay menu (see the attached screenshot) that takes up the whole screen and has space for main links, buttons or social icons at the bottom. Is there a specific roadmap or a place where we can submit these kinds of component suggestions? Thanks for the awesome tool! 🚀
Christine for sure - we are ALWAYS accepting any and all feedback - thank you so much for dropping this one in here. Just to confirm - have you seen Navbar 16? Let me know if this is what you were looking for, and if not, what makes your request different from this component so we can account for it! https://www.relume.io/preview?cid=navbars/navbar16_component
Matt J. I am looking for a combination of two different navigation concepts. Desktop and mobile have completely different UX requirements. From a UX perspective, using a hamburger menu on desktop doesn’t make much sense because there is plenty of screen real estate—standard horizontal links are much more effective there. Hamburger menus and full-screen overlays are a mobile solution due to the limited space. That is why I would love to see a component that offers a traditional, standard horizontal layout on desktop, which then transforms into a clean, bold full-screen overlay menu exclusively on mobile to accommodate big typography and social icons at the bottom. Having components that treat desktop and mobile UX differently based on screen size would be a massive and super useful addition to the Relume library!
