I’ll be honest: this is coming from someone who isn’t a ‘fanboy’ but treats this as a business tool.
While I understand the need to strengthen the foundations, I’m concerned about the shift in priorities. We’re continuing our subscriptions to support our current workflows, and my main worry is that support for existing tools will take a backseat during this ‘build phase.’
It’s also tough to swallow that after months of no updates, we’ll likely be ‘rewarded’ with a price hike once the new features launch. It feels like we’re currently funding a pivot that might end up costing us even more in the long run.
