Congrats on launching Relume Publish! I think this could be a real gamechanger for custom websites with a mini-CMS. A lot of people like me are using Relume → Claude code/Lovable/Cursor → Sanity/Directus → Vercel/Cloudflare → etc. I think Publish could be huuuugh, but it needs to be developer friendly. For example
ability to self-host the website if we have to (due to regulations)
download the CMS data from Relume in case we want to migrate (because site is getting too complex).
Anyway we can give input on Publish as a community?
Go Relume! You guys are legends! ❤️ One thing that could make Relume Publish an industry killer is the ability for it to be fully agentic. I know you are trying to replace 5 tools with a single platform BUT the beauty of those 5 tools is their MCP servers. I can use their MCP servers on Cursor and have 10 agents running 10 complex site changes at the same time. Its true that those 5 tools mean more things to manage but the productivity boost of fully agentic work within Cursor/Claude is wild. If I can have 10 agents on Cursor working on my Relume site with which ever model I want, then using Relume Publish is a no brainer.
Thijs S. We're pushing to launch Publish beta in July - if you are in the beta group, you'll have clear direction on where to provide feedback. For when public launch happens, we'll make providing feedback clear as well - feedback in these early stages of any product launch is absolutely critical. Just so that we're on the same page though - I have not heard of any plans to allow for self-hosting. I do think that export of CMS data makes sense at some point, but likely not available at launch. Keep the feedback coming - this is the correct channel for general feedback, so you are in the right spot!
Matt J. yeah understand about CMS data export and ability to self-host. What people hate about platforms like Webflow and Framer is the vendor lock. People want to transition off, but they can't because the CMS is tied in with the website. Offcourse, that's a business decision as well and they probably are very profitable because of that reason. But if your product is good enough, you shouldn't have to worry about people leaving your platform, even if costs increase significantly. I would be more than happy to pay more for Webflow for example, but the platform has become stagnant in this age of AI coding. I agree fully with Diego -.. Having really good MCP support, similar to Sanity, would be absolutely amazing.
