Hi, we've been trying to find ways to make the Relume app work on our website but it just always asks us to clone the style guide.
We have a site already built and is somehow huge. We want to use Relume on this site.
We have the team plan with Pro features.
Tried all the steps on how to setup but still ends up being asked by the Relume app to clone the style guide.
Tried creating a new site, added latest style guide and installed the Relume app. Still getting this:
Ergin T. unforunately due to technical limitations with Webflow there will be no way for you to use the Relume webflow app with an existing website that was not started with the cloned Relume style guide version 3.0 or higher. The only way you can use Relume with an existing website like yours is to copy/paste pages or sections from the Relume Site Builder or to copy/paste components from our Relume webflow library or lastly the Relume chrome extension. You'll want to follow this guide, specifically choosing the v1.5 version of the Relume components with your existing site to ensure a smooth experience with copy/pasting pages/sections into your project. https://www.relume.io/resources/docs/updating-existing-projects Let me know if you get hung up with any of this - apologies for the inconvenience here!
Tried all of that before and never worked. I deleted the project we had on the Relume website and just created a new one and it works now. Good thing we were just starting out and haven't built much on the website. Thanks!
Ergin T. okay - its possible that if we're talking about on the Webflow side, that if you modified the style guide page (the slug, or made it not be a draft page) that it would flag the app and throw this error. So I would just be cautious with what changes you make to the style guide page within Webflow - that was likely it.
