Troubleshooting Relume to Webflow Import Issues with Missing Pages in Design Mode

Hello! I need help with troubleshooting my export from relume to webflow. After importing a website style guide and design from the Relume app, all other 11 pages except the "Home" page do not import correctly. When I navigate to the "Pages" tab in Webflow while in design mode, Home is the only page that shows properly. Two other pages appear but it seems they are in folder format. I cannot expand the folder whatsoever and nothing happens when I click. There are 12 pages total that need to be imported from relume. After trying to import the site multiple times, each time it says I have saved around 70 hours, so I believe the site in imported fully and these elements are inappropriately hidden somewhere. Attached is what shows up in the pages panel where the other 11 pages should be.

Jess G. thank you for flagging this - very sorry for the issues. Do you have a paid Webflow workspace? Not a webflow site plan, but a paid webflow workspace?

Jess G. okay it seems Webflow has changed how this would get caught and turned into an error and now it seems its not throwing an error at all, but instead making it seem like everything is fine, which is really unfortunate. Webflow imposed a page limit on free workspaces awhile back, so you'll need to upgrade your webflow workspace in order to import more pages. Our style guide page and the homepage count as two pages. Matt J. So when exporting from Relume to Webflow, I need a paid workspace plan only? Or do I need a site plan and a workspace plan? If so, which Webflow workspace plan do you recommend for a 12 page site. I currently have the CMS site plan and the starter (unpaid) workspace. Did I need a paid “CMS site” plan at all?

workspace plan only, until you want to add a custom domain and publish your website live on Webflow, then you'll need a site plan. You probably didn't need a CMS site plan unless you plan on using a CMS - at least not right away. Almost all of the sites I've built with the exception of some very small single-page sites, used the CMS site plan. So its likely something you needed anyway. You could write into Webflow and see if they could give you a credit refund instead of a full refund, then you can use that credit towards the site plan when you are actually ready. I wish the site plan upgrades would unlock the page limits, but unfortunately they don't.

I know I kind of contradicted myself there. I guess what I was trying to say is that you don't need a CMS site plan right away, but its something you should consider later on.

Hi Matt J. - I've just had a frustrating time with exactly the same issue. Could you make this requirement for a workspace plan clearer on your website and in your onboarding flow?

Matt J. Like Jess G., I had paid for a CMS site. I have now also paid for a Workspace on the Webflow monthly Freelancer plan. Am I correct in assuming I can cancel the Workspace plan when I have finished importing from Relume? Please forgive me for what I'm sure is a naive question, but I want to be certain. Will cancelling the Webflow workspace account affect my site imported from Relume? Thanks

Peter B. thanks for that feedback. I'll see what I can do within my control to educate on this - I can understand how frustrating this must have been and for that I apologize. As for cancelling the workspace plan - I am not entirely sure if cancelling that would affect your site to be honest. It seems like if the limit was imposed and subsequently lifted by having a paid workspace plan, that I suppose its possible that it could lock up certain pages with a site? To be honest, its a bit odd to me that a CMS site plan doesn't unlock the requirement in the first place. I'm assuming you won't be needing more than one site or?

The safer route would be to send a quick refund request to Webflow for the CMS site plan, and I'm sure you'd get close to or a full refund, then purchase the CMS site plan when you are ready to launch - assuming it'll take longer than 30 days to get a site launched of course. If not, then yeah I am not 100% sure what would happen to be honest. Maybe a quick note to Webflow on that as well? Maybe communicate the frustrating experience as well?

no yeah I understand - seems to be a pretty common pattern. Was always curious though - what made you purchase the CMS plan first or right away?
