Hi there! I need some help with stylize Relume Banner 11. How do I make global changes to the text/font rather than each one individually? Thanks!
Kristen g. would you mind sharing a read-only link?
Hi Matt, here is the read-only link. You will see here I am using banners 11 and 12. If I change text style, ie, size, font and weight, it will change globally. However, the only way I could manage changing the text copy in each text box is by filling in one text box and then deleting the original text boxes and copying and pasting new in each individual text wrapper. If you see the mobile version, there is an issue where the text stacks and overlays when the repetition starts.
Kristen g. okay but what kind of changes are you trying to make to the text?
Kristen g. I was able to make any and all text changes without much issue and on a fresh copy of both of those components I am not seeing the overlap issue so I think it might be best to start from scratch with these two components, and then make a couple of clear changes. First one being that if you dont want the text to wrap, you'll just apply flex child dont drink or grow setting to the text wrapper. Secondly, you will want to modify the first group (banner11_marquee) of text wrappers, and then delete the second group, and duplicate the first group. We need two identical banner11_marquee in order for the looping to work properly. Lastly, if you are having issues editing the actual content of the text, you can use the navigator on the left, and then use the settings panel on the right to change the text. Here's a read-only link where I have the components that seem to work across all breakpoints. https://preview.webflow.com/preview/testing-banner-11?utm_medium=preview_link&utm_sour[鈥1&preview=10b913226462124c48c933059161efa4&workflow=preview If I have misunderstood something or missed something please let me know and if you try these things and it still doesn't work - please let me know - happy to help.
Thanks Matt. I'll have to start from scratch on this one.
