Issue with Importing Wireframes in Figma Using Relume Plugin

Hi, lately I'm having a problem with importing wireframes into Figma. After inserting the wireframe through the Relume figma plugin, I don't have the mapped sections to components in the Relume Style guide. Do you know why this error is happening? Thanks

Martin G. this was done intentionally for several reasons but we're having open discussions about it today in 🔒[private feed] if you want to join. After the conclusion of this discussion, we'll have more details on what path we move forward with.

Oh okay, good to know. Sometimes I detach sections from component, but sometimes I want to decide that I dont want this section, and changing it in figma is much faster than going to relume Site builder and make a changes there.

You still have full access to all of the components right within Figma - so you can go find the component and bring it into a screen. Oddly enough, Figma seems to be having a major issue with their search at the moment as well which is incredibly unfortunate timing since I would use the shift + i shortcut a lot to search for components and drop them into any screen I was on.

another option is copying a section in site builder and using the paste feature within the figma plugin to paste any section that is copied in site builder into anywhere in your figma kit.

Matt J. Unfortunately, I am on the West Coast and do Ai design training with my clients in Europe during your office-hours, so I can never attend. But I would desperately like this feature to come back. I taught a German medical company's design team how to modify the component workflow to fit their internal workflow with this feature. The design manager's words: "This will save us thousands of hours every year." And now they can't do it. ☹️

greg a. our entire mission is to make work faster - so I am extremely interested in learning more about the issue - is there any way you could do a loom/screen recording at your convenience and send it to me and we can at least try to communicate async?

Matt J. Ha, you read my mind. I was just trying to think of the best way to communicate this without showing client confidential projects. I will use my training exemplar project, but just know that it will only show the basics of the workflow, not the in-depth real-world usage scenario. You should still be able to get the gist, tho. Let me see if I can record something for you in the next couple of hours.
