anyone else experience issues with navigation like this the behavior is odd - It was happening with another navigation component. I could not figure it out, so I removed it and added this one. Now the exact same issue is happening with this one. If anyone has any insight on how to fix this bug, please let me know. Thank you in advance 馃檹
303Visuals I would need the webflow read-only link to know for 100% sure but having seen this issue several times before, I'm sure that I'll point you in the right direction. So in your navbar there must be a gap between your dropdown toggle and your dropdown menu. If you add padding to different areas you'll get the same spacing, but without the gap - thus preventing this issue. Avoid adjusting the top/bottom position of the menu as well. Also from a UX perspective is better to use a click to open up a menu than a hover - you'll need this for mobile anyway.
OH wild I just realized that the whole menu changed - I thought that you were moving from one dropdown to another - thats my bad....yeah this is a different can of worms entirely....looking into it now
303Visuals so I started a brand new webflow project and pasted in navbar 29 - and this behavior is not in there - so thats good.
so then I proceeded to remove literally everything from the page, except the navbar - behavior still there
so then I disabled custom code, and the behavior stopped
so you must have some custom code that is somehow interfering with this dropdown which would explain why it happened with two different navbar components.
if I had the published URL - I could help identify whats causing it by inspecting elements. When I do that within the Webflow designer, I get a bunch of webflow elements that are not related to the project really.
