Issues Importing Relume Design into Existing Webflow Project

Hey guys, I am trying to import my relume design into webflow. I want to import it into an existing project, since that is the one I'm on the correct plan. If I copy the style guide page and import from there it works, but since it is a free one then I cannot import all pages. The problem with Importing it into my existing page is that the app does not find my style guide in the project, even though I created a new Page "Style Guide" as suggested in the docs. In that page I copied the wrapper as suggested. I know it must be the "correct" style guide, since from that project it all worked (besides the page limitation). What am I doing wrong? I attached a screenshot of my structure.

Nils I’ll make this doc more clear but even when you copy/paste the style guide page in, you wont be able to use our webflow app for a project that was not started with our style guide because we have all kinds of unique IDs in that cloneable that you cannot sync or replicate for the webflow app to work properly. If its just that you already have a webflow site plan on the project or a small set of CMS collections, you can seamlessly transfer site plans with no disruption or export/import collections from one project to the next. The doc you were reading is giving you a way to use our webflow components in an existing project. Appreciate the feedback on this doc, we’ll get to work improving that.

I see that makes sense. I was reading this page here: https://www.relume.io/resources/docs/updating-existing-projects and thought I could use my own page. Thanks for clarifying. Sounds good if that is possible. It's just that we are on a start up plan currently and I do not want to loose my benefits by migrating since we have a one year subscription for the current plan.

Nils you won't lose any benefits and it'll transfer instantly from one project to another. They spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in engineering to make that a really painless process because they (Webflow) were getting thousands of requests a day for it. I've used it several times and its quite nice. 🙂

if thats really your only hesitation in creating a new project, just wanted to give you some confidence on it. If you have other objections or still don't feel comfortable doing it, totally fair. Its 1000x worth taking the 3 minutes to transfer a site plan from one project to another, to be able to save probably about 15 hours of dev time to use our app. Of course this assumes its working properly for you as well, as you can see we're having some cases where users are hitting some errors.
