Hey there, I keep getting an error after generating the homepage 'is-text' class is duplicated. I'm using the Relume style guide (cloned). Had this on my last three projects. Tried clearing extra-classes and removing the is-text class manual. -Daniel
Yes.
okay removing the duplicate class and re-running it should work fine. Can you send me the read-only link?
Also the issue keeps being is-text
Between different project aswell
Only thing consistent in my testing is my workspace and the issue being is-text duplicated
is tag and is-text your classes or were they imported?
Hey matt any update on this? Keep running into this with every project. I did notice it only happens with 'blog' sections.
I feel like this might be a workspace related issue?
My team has actually gone down a lot in efficiency so it's an actual problem for us. Although this illustrates how powerful relume is. Hours worked on per project has increased 10%...
Hey Daniel C. - my apologies for not following up - I had thought I had communicated to you in another thread that we had fixed the issue within our style guide. For any future clones of the style guide this shouldn't be an issue. For existing projects, you can deploy this fix within the project. https://www.loom.com/share/377a24edb82949bf96976365955cbe06?sid=ca823481-a51c-40ae-991c-6e5ad1986c92
By the way, this is only happening during page imports... class sync is on in relume chrome extension.
right yeah its an issue with the component itself, not with the starter file or the webflow app
in some cases - I'll follow up with the team and see what we can do to resolve this or if we have an ETA to resolving the issue with the components.
I am not importing a component, I am trying to import a full page or whole site from site builder. Right now my workaround, is copying and pasting pages.
right
its a specific component within a page that is likely throwing the issue
Whatever the bug is, is still there.. another person reported it in main thread.
and then stops the process of importing
Oh gotcha, want to see page? 😛
yeah that would actually be helpful
and also when you copy/paste those pages in, are you seeing any class duplication issues on any elements that might have the is-text class? Typically something like a blog section might have this class for example.
not sure how to share...
well just your site builder Relume project link is fine - we can look at those components to try to reproduce the issue.
looks okay to me (this is just using copy/paste... not site import)
I'll DM
yeah interesting - thanks for sharing the links!
yeah we'll try to get to the bottom of this ASAP - due to the complexities of these things though I don't have any kind of ETA at the moment - meeting with the sydney team later today.
and yeah there will likely be several components unfortunately - its fairly complex - and we had solved for the mass majority of issues but due to time constraints we did not get to all of the components.
if you can atleast tell us which component categories to avoid, until ya'll resolve this... that would help us keep going
Hi everyone, I just landed on this Thread because I'm experiencing the exact same problem "Relume Site Builder Import "is-text" cannot be deduplicated. Please remove the duplicated classes manually." I have 14 pages to import, and only the Home page worked. Are there any updates? 🙏
Luis A. apologies for the delay - we've had to release yet another hot fix but I believe that we have resolved these issues - they are extremely complicated so I myself am not feeling 100% confident yet, but overtime and with several testing sessions, I'm sure that I will get there. Can you try it out and let me know what you find? Keep in mind, you may still get the is-text deduplication error but it shouldn't stop your importing.
Matt J. thanks for your updates. I hope those issues can be resolved soon (though new ones might arise 😪 haha). Anyway, I wanted to let you know that it’s working, I was able to export the entire project. As you mentioned, the messages about “is-text deduplication” and some “image deduplication” appeared several times, but the most important thing for me was successfully importing the project. Good luck, and have a great day! PS. Syed (. you might find this helpful.
