Yall get these memory warnings after importing a Relume project into Figma? Is there a good process to push all those Relume components (and maybe the styleguide) out to an external library to reference from this, the design file? Or, other ideas?
Hmm yeah I get this in the browser but havent had too many people mention this on desktop. I wonder if importing less at a time? Your suggestion unfortunately wont work as we鈥檙e not able to reference libraries on import.
I also got this problem on desktop. It already gives the message with just the Figma kit, and my added sitemap. So I haven't even started with my project.
Yeah, I was basically just post-import. I get the yellow version almost right away, then the red sometimes when I do the Batch Styler or something.
yeah, I think we'll have to consider what we're going to do about this if we continue to add more components.
Its a tough spot for us to be in because at some level its really the Figma app that should be optimizing this experience, not us.
I also wonder how long ago was it that we've investigated the APIs and maybe Figma has opened up new doors that we have yet to explore - so its worth investigating no matter what for sure.
In my ideal world, Relume is a library that sits at the middle of my whole org, and I update (or, you update) centrally. And each file has its own styleguide that is applied to the components as I bring them in. That seems to fit the conception of Relume, though I don鈥檛 know to what extent it鈥檚 achievable.
