I have an issue with Relume Site Builder Import (Webflow) that is sucking up valuable time. It is not importing the Navbar component displayed in Relume. I want centre-justified menus but shortly after importing it the navbar is changed to a left-justified menu with errors. It seems to be holding onto some memory of that component and reverting it back every time. Any suggestions?
OK - I solved my own issue. I deleted every instance of the global navbar in Webflow, and then I deleted the navbar component itself. The memory of that navbar design went with it, and now it imports as I want.
That said the more pages you have the more time-consuming and frustrating this is to do. It would be best if prior to every import the Webflow components were cleared out
interesting - I think we generally want it to pick up the existing navbar for most cases but I can see where in this case, you had effectively changed your mind on what navbar component you wanted but it was still just using the existing one, is that correct?
Yes I changed my mind. I exported early because I was keen to try the Webflow export feature and see how it worked. Then once I saw it worked well I returned to developing my wireframe and my navbar changed. Unfortunately the export had trouble dealing with that change. Later I experienced this problem for the footer too. It鈥檚 quite tedious because the website is getting bigger over time and Webflow does not have bulk delete features.
