Figma Kit: Button Text Style Update Issue and Workaround Needed

Hey guys, got a quick question regarding buttons in the Figma Kit. When editing buttons, if I change the button text style, this doesn't seem update across the component templates, but the other edits to the main button have been automatically update. Just to give some context, I've created a new text style with secondary font and applied this to button components text elements. Has anyone found a work around? I think this might be a limitation in Figma, but just double checking here in case I've done something stupid. Thanks in advance for your help 🙂
