Design Tab Freezes and Crashes Browsers: Troubleshooting Tips

The design tab just hangs and does nothing. I’ve tried it in chrome and safari and they both just say they’re generating designs until the page becomes unresponsive and crashes my entire browser. It worked for a second but it stalled after the first screen I’ve cleared cache hard refreshed and turned off all my plug ins and still getting the issue
