Al-ibiewi I’m sorry but I don’t have a lot of free time right now to educate you on the topic. You can look up issues with Wordpress and do your own research though. There’s lots out there to tell you how it can be problematic. I’m not saying it always is but if you don’t know what the problems are with the platform you definitely won’t be able to mitigate them

Al-ibiewi this is a tool that is built to work with webflow. It isn’t integrated with Wordpress. And Wordpress is a pain on a lot of levels. Stopped using it years ago when other tools that produce better code with less problems came online.

Sara M. Dont overthink it though. In the context of the text, footnotes are simply links that point to an anchor on the page. Content [1] for example So if Im thinking through this right in my very exhausted brain, your CMS could be as easy as [article title ] [article content - where you would link to the footnotes inline - make this a rich content section just for your sanity, unless all the articles have standard sections and layouts etc] [footnote section - also a rich content section so you can add links if you need to] The simplest way to do this would probably be to have all your inline links just link to an anchor at the top of the footnote section, unless you're going to have a bunch

overflow: auto or overflow: scroll shows scrollbars (depending on content size and browser). overflow: visible (the default) does not create scrollbars — it lets content spill out. overflow: hidden hides overflow entirely.

Al-ibiewi I’m very confused by this question as it doesn’t really pertain to what is being asked here. But You’d cite a source in the format the author wrote the content in APA or MLA format just like any other scholarly work. It’s not super complicated. Both formats have very specific ways of citing sources that work fine if there’s no links as well as how to cite online resources. And why make more work for a developer to put something in an accordion? I just don’t get it. It’s more of a heavy load for page loading. It’s more of a heavy load for cognitive load for interacting with the page and I very rarely see them properly implemented for actual usability for people with assistive devices

Also accordions can be easily be built to be totally inaccessible if not coded properly and hrefs to anchors on pages will be entirely less tempremental on the accessibility standpoint.
