Zooming Issues in Wireframe Mode: Need for Clarity

Hey y'all, sorry if this has been said. I just joined. But, I am curious as to why we can't zoom in online in the wireframe mode and then once zoomed in use the Command+H shortcut to drag the dartboard space.... Because as of right now, once I zoom in, I can't see anything other than what it zooms in on.
