yeah im looking for it in Relume. The more i can get done before it moves into Figma the better. trying to use this setup as streamlined as possible as a case study for my CD to show how it can speed up our email design and mobile resize process
what i am trying to achieve is set the initial wireframe/design for Desktop to default to 700px wide for email designs
shane t. ah got it - thank you for that additional context! Not saying you couldn't use this for email design but yeah we don't really have those kinds of settings within Relume. I think at most we could help generate a general layout and copy, and then once you import into Figma, you could make some quick adjustments to get what you need. We recently adjusted our figma kits to be fully responsive to work with Figma Sites. So we have variables like container-large that you could adjust the value of that variable and it would adjust all of the components by default to whatever that value is. In my quick test right now, its possible that you'd still need to make some adjustments to auto layout within some components though. I would think that even using our figma kit with a little bit of the AI generator could be helpful though. I could see potentially using the sitemap to map out the email funnels, and then building out the sections, and then in wireframe being able to lay down some simple components and previewing them in various sizes. 🤷♂️
yeah i figured it would be handy for our use bc we are regularly asked by clients to create concepts for mobile along with desktop.. and frequently have many rounds of edits where we are doing 2x the layout, image and text edits as a result. I was tinkering with the variable container large in figma but it doesnt seem to have altered any of the components
The other features are a cherry on top but not enough to keep a sub.. but the biggest thing is the auto creation of a mobile version that seems to update in figma. but the desktop size being so large is an issue. is thre any way to alter it from the Relume level?

does figma show any sort of progress bar when updating so many items? i have the screen pulled up and the size edited in variables as you did but not seeing anything happening
no unfortunately which is the part that makes it a bit confusing
the only way that I knew that something was happening and that it was complete is that I went to close the variables panel and it was "frozen" and when it did finally close, then I knew it was complete....not ideal
yeah mine isnt fozen atm. im on Relume Kit v3.3 if that helps
