Issue with Modal Not Closing Properly When Using Close Link

Hi guys - I am having a problem with the *Modal 1* - when clicking outside the modal it closes properly but when clicking on the close link (x) it’s like the modal is still there (even if it is not visible) so you can’t scroll properly or click on anything. The moment I click outside where the modal would be it closes properly.

So for context - the modal is part of Template page (services) and is a component - The aim of the modal is for it to be a price list for each service page. The reason it is a component is I will reuse that block across the site without the Modal Button

Any suggestions? I am confused because the background has an interaction which is the same as the close link (X) it would make more sense if they were both having the same issue but it only seems to be the close link

I actually had an identical issue with the modal. Clicking on the background works fine but the “x” icon inside of a modal is unreliable

Did anyone find a solution to this? Matt J. Modal closes without any issues when you close via the overlay, but for some reason when you close the modal using the modal-close-button links on page are not clickable.

Angelo M. it appears Grant may have fixed it yeah. Apologies for missing this, I think I was on vacation actually. 🤦‍♂️ One theory I have for how Grant potentially fixed this was applying the interactions again - so deleting them and re-applying them in the same way - for whatever reason this sometimes resolves these issues on the Webflow side - when you paste/import some interactions, they break in the code but everything on the frontend looks fine. Its a simple enough change to do and if that doesn't resolve it - would you mind sending a read-only and I'll dive a little deeper into it?

Thank you Matt J. I'll try and see if that works. I moved the close button outside of the content wrapper as a temporary fix, but not liking how it looks on mobile. I'll keep you posted!

Matt J. re-applying the interactions didn't work but duplicating, renaming them, and then applying the interactions to each element worked for me. Thanks again brother.
