Hi Relume team, I鈥檝e been finding it difficult to navigate the wireframes and the new beta design tab on desktop. I鈥檝e been switching to my phone since it鈥檚 easier to zoom and review designs there, but that also comes with its own challenges. The one-device sign-in limit makes things more difficult, as logging in on mobile signs me out of desktop. It would be really helpful to either improve desktop navigation or allow at least two devices to stay signed in at once. cc: Matt J. Adam M. Dan
Welliv thank you for your feedback! We really appreciate any and all feedback to help us improve the product. To help you out with the desktop version here are some handy tips:
hold spacebar + grab the canvas to pan around
hold cmd + scroll to zoom in/out
hold shift + scroll to scroll side to side
hold z + click to zoom in
hold z + alt + click to zoom out
Hope that helps improve your desktop experience but if not, please let me know.
Thanks for the tips, they help a bit, but I still find mobile easier for navigating the wireframes and designs. It might be worth looking into making desktop navigation smoother, maybe by allowing easier hovering across the wireframes with just the cursor.
I'm farmiliar with Figma, one can easily hover around designs with just the cursor.
okay roger that. So you are saying that just by simply having your mouse over a screen, it would center that screen in view? If so, how would we distinguish between wanting to pan around the canvas and actually making edits though?
Yes, just hovering the mouse over a screen would auto-center that wireframe in view. To separate panning from editing, an Edit button could be used. When toggled on, panning is disabled for focused edits. When off, users can freely move around the canvas.
