Hey there I am using the multistep form 2 and have an issue that the combo class for the radio button is-active-inputinactive won't allow me to style the background. I get the following error message shown in the second screenshot. Read only link Any ideas?
Andrew M. I'm thinking you've resolved this? But ultimately the issue is that your project did not start with the Relume Style Guide and thus the variables that are in that project are not there so Webflow throws this error. The easiest solution is to just reset that color value and you can set whatever color you want. The other option is to reset it and choose a different variable. Lastly, you can choose different preferences within the Relume Library to prevent more variable issues by choosing the Relume Style Guide v1.5 - this setting does not have color variables and you should be able to paste components into a project without having to worry about them. Its a good idea to also have the style guide in your project as well. Here are several docs on these topics that will help get you headed in the direction of success: https://www.relume.io/resources/docs/updating-existing-projects https://www.relume.io/resources/docs/how-to-use-formly-with-relume
Thanks so much for the reply Matt J. I hadn't actually solved it. I actually just rebuilt the multistep form using inputflow and got it to work. But ideally I'd be able to use free version of formly for what I need. The issue is that I'm using it on a website at work that doesn't use the style guide and already has it's own styles created. So I don't want to screw with what is already there by adding the client first style guide to the site. It sucks because that is normally the first thing I'd do when starting any new project (I'm working on persuading them to implement CF) I actually tried reseting the color value and that doesn't seem to work. When I click on "color" where there is normally the option to reset, it tells me to go to the class where it is inheriting the color from but don't seem to be able to do it. I'm thinking the best fix here might be to use the Relume Style Guide v1.5 and not have to worry about color variables. I'll give that a shot and see how it goes. Thanks again!
