Webflow Collection List Missing Sort Option: Need Help!

hello! I've been using webflow for years and have been building a site for a client where I intended to sort the collection list by date. Yet for some reason there is no sort option in my collection list in the settings panel. I have never seen this before. There has always been a sorting option! Has anyone else run into this problem?
