Hi all, I just tried importing a sitemap.xml I created for a new project, but generating failed. What I did:
Design a sitemap
Have Gemini transform this into a sitemap.xml format
Upload sitemap.xml to a www-subfolder on my personal web domain
Test if I can publicly access the file
Copy the sitemap url into Relume sitebuilder and hit Generate.
The idea was not to have Relume design the sitemap, but to replicate the sitemap.xml and design the section layouts for all pages. Does anyone know why the sitemap.xml couldn’t be processed?
Ferry d. really cool process! Unfortunately this wont work with the sitemap tool. Its something to consider for a feature. I dont know how many pages you are trying to create but another process that might yield the same results would be to create the pages by entering just a distinctive name and within the page UI you should see a “generate” button and Relume will generate the sections within that page. Might not be exactly what you were looking for but thought I’d mention it incase you were not aware.
Yeah fair assumption - unfortunately its just not built like that. In fact we built our own crawler/bot so we actually dont even read an xml file to grab the structure of a website vis URL.
Thanks for clarifying!
