Troubleshooting Relume Blog Component Setup with Collections List

I'm having issues setting up this component with a collections list. In the video instruction the cms is autofilled with columns and there is only a thin line showing on mine. I tried adding height to it, but it just shows one container. So confused. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

Matt K. do you have any items inside of the collection "Blog Posts" or? That's usually the indicator here. I also can't see what is inside of that collection either. Mind sharing a read-only link?

ok now the collection is working for some reason. any way you could assist getting this component in the collections list? should be visible now

yeah I would map the classes from the component to the collection, and then drag blog42_item into the collection item wrapper and hook up the CMS custom fields to the elements. You'll likely want to skip the 5 min read, that requires quite a few extra steps, and isn't worth the effort in my opinion.

the category will require that you nest a second collection that points to a multi-reference field like "Blog Categories" or something like that.

Ok this part makes sense. What about hooking up the actual blog page? There is supposed to be a drop down from the template page, but I don’t see anything. Also what about for index page? Gotta say I think webflows CMS is the most confusing aspect of the entire software

Matt K. what do you mean by "drop down from the template page"? Typically for a blog, I'll create the /blog page as a static page and bring in a couple of collection lists into that page- so I'd use Blog Header 1 and Blog Section 1 as examples - and hook those both up to collection lists and then I've got my "index" page for the blog. Then any post within those collection lists will link to the blog post template and that would be the "Single Post" template (if you are coming from wordpress, that is one way to think about it). Webflow CMS is probably the most powerful and empowering CMS I've ever worked with so I think once it clicks, you'll take off like a rocket. I would encourage you to watch some of the Webflow University videos on Webflow CMS as well.
