Hey all! I was using Relume components, copy/pasting them into Webflow. I am noticing that while I was doing this, I have lost the ability to customize the font colours. This error occurs: ERROR UNKNOWN VARIABLE Has anyone ever come across this problem?
Michelle S. Hi Michelle - good to see you again! That is a bit odd - can you share the read-only link so I inspect a couple of things?
Michelle S. yeah looks like this project is using a very old version of our style guide - in which case you'll need to copy in components a bit differently to avoid these unknown variables. Even if you had the same variables in this project, the variables have unique hidden IDs associated that is not possible to map upon pasting the component. This article and section that I'm linking to directly, talk about how to switch your preferences within the chrome extension and the webflow library to avoid these unknown variables. https://www.relume.io/resources/docs/updating-existing-projects#change-your-component-library-preferences You will likely still hit some additional issues with this project though because heading-large is no longer a utility class in the newer versions of our style guide or Client-First.
Hello! I added a new pages to my website using the old Relume Style Guide Version and now a bunch of the components of my website aren鈥檛 loading. Any advice would be helpful! This is really bad and is live. https://www.sparkandpony.com/portfolio
Michelle S. Would you mind sending a read-only link?
