Joseph B. yeah that video won't help you out. As for why this is happening is because by default the library or site builder are set to a v3.0 version of the components but your style guide is a v2.1. So you just need to change the Relume Site Builder, Webflow Library and Chrome Extension preferences to match the style guide version you are using. Part of this doc runs you through where and how to change this preference: https://www.relume.io/resources/docs/updating-existing-projects#change-your-component-library-preferences
Okay, I've imported the new V3 SG and taken all that old stuff out. I'd really like to import the new AI beta SG but my current site says I'm still not running V3 and so the app will not let me import that to my site. Do I need to copy each page over to a new V3 clone site to make this work or is there a simpler way?
yeah, doesnt work like that unfortunately. Even if you were to copy/paste the v3 SG into a project, it wont have the variables or the variable IDs or some of the other hidden IDs we have to identify the SG as being a v3. Your preferences would have to be set to v2.1 and you can only copy/paste pages/components into a project. Unfortunately you will only be able to use the webflow app to import pages into a v3 SG that was cloned.
