Is Webflow Necessary for Relume? Tips for Responsive Design

Is webflow a necessary tool if you want to use Relume? And how do I make responsive designs that suit every device?

David L. what other tool did you have in mind? We've just released our 🔒[private feed] of components in beta this week - so if html or react are more your vibe, that would be the way to go and try that out - otherwise, curious to know what tool you had in mind.

Currently my friend codes my figma design in html, but do you mean that Webflow is more efficient? I just have the feeling that is it double work when you have to use figma and webflow.

and what about responsive designs?

David L. yeah I had been writing html/css by hand for about 15 years prior to finding Webflow and I actually prefer Webflow because its way faster - far less key strokes to generate the same lines of HTML/CSS. I would check it out - it'll be a learning curve for sure.

Okay I will start to use it then, is responsiveness(for all devices) managed on webflow, or do you have any tips to make responsive designs?

David L. yeah that is one of the key benefits in my eyes is that you can make responsive websites visually - super quickly - in webflow, you literally just hit the 1, 2, 3, 4 keys on your keyboard to switch between device breakpoints.
