Hi there, I have a question: our website has been built in Webflow, however our big roadblock is that we need a dev anytime we want to build a new page from scratch. Is it possible to get a developer to transfer our existing webflow style guide into Relume to make it easier?
Hello. I am senior website designer. I have rich experience in website design and development. If you need my help, please contact with me. Thanks
I can't understand what you say
If someone posted jobs, can I join that?
or can't I join?
they weren't actually looking to hire anyone, they were asking IF they hired somebody, can it be done
which you'll see my answer coming soon
oh, understood, that's my mistake. if so, can you give some paid projects to me?
No, you'll have to do it like everyone else does - practice practice practice. Build a portfolio. Build relationships where people trust you. They spread the word, you get more clients. The chances of you getting a job by hijacking somebody's post in a community is next to zero - maybe even negative chances. Happy to help review your portfolio or your design work or your development work. But giving you jobs is not going to happen. I dont even give my own kids money unless they've earned it!
Marta Z. to answer your question directly and technically - no its actually not possible to transfer an existing webflow project into Relume or to convert it so that you can use Relume's site builder and webflow app to import those pages. However, there is a process you could do where you'd generate page in the Relume Site Builder and you could copy the pages individually and paste them into Webflow. Its kind of a complex process really but it consists of two things:
Copy/paste the Relume style guide into the webflow project
Change your component preferences to be v1.5 (without variables).
Then you should be able to copy/paste sections or whole pages individually into a webflow project. If you run into any roadblocks - please do reach out - happy to try to unblock this for you!
Thanks Matt!
ope - forgot the most important part! The link to our doc about doing this! https://www.relume.io/resources/docs/updating-existing-projects
got a little distracted there........
For context, I do genuinely want to help people find work and warnings for soliciting have already been issued. You鈥檒l have to put in some real, hard, work but it's doable and if I can help - I most definitely will!
