Hi team - I'm a copywriter new to Relume and am using it for the first time to create wireframes. The web dev on the project is building the site on another platform and needs the copy in Word/Google Docs format, or as a .txt file. I'm having trouble with exporting as .txt - it's just generating the site sections and descriptions, not the actual copy. Can you help please? Thanks.
Jo D. So sorry to report that we never had an export feature of the copy unfortunately. Does your web dev have any flexibility in how this is delivered to them? I know how painful this whole copywriting process can be so I'm willing to go above and beyond to help you specifically get unblocked and get your dev what they need to build. If there is flexibility on your dev's side, send me a DM and we'll hash something out.
Thanks for responding Matt J.. I'm not following though - why is there an export option for .txt, .csv and html formats if it doesn't actually export the content of the wireframes? I'm trying to find a workaround. Even exporting as a PDF would be helpful. Right now the only way to extract the wireframes with content is to screenshot and get ChatGPT to do it, which seems crazy...
Jo D. I know, I'm with you. With the picture you have now, it does seem crazy. The .txt and .csv exports were built before we had content editing. The HTML formats are a byproduct of our react export and requires additional development to also include the edits to components. PDF/Image Exports have been on our list for awhile and honestly, is something we'd probably build but not in time to unblock you. I wish I had a better workaround than the one you've proposed but unfortunately I don't. In our new system, I do believe some consideration has been made to how we can ease the pain of copywriting and the workflows here, so that's good news, but again not helpful to you today. I'll send a follow-up DM.
