Hello! I鈥檓 currently using Relume to create a website for my company and then export it to Webflow. While creating all the pages of my site, Relume becomes very slow and laggy. Do you have any tips or best practices to make the process more efficient? Another question: is it possible to add CTA buttons directly inside existing blocks in Relume? Or do all customizations (like adding buttons) need to be done later directly in Webflow? Thanks in advance for your help!
Silvia B. ahh great question! This is definitely something we are aware of and working to improve in our new foundations project. Unfortunately that means that there are no immediate fixes for this in the current platform. A couple of workarounds worth trying out:
For the time being while you are doing a lot of edits in the site builder, try moving groups of pages to their own sitemap. You can create new sitemaps when you are on the sitemap page > bottom right.
Ensure you don't have any chrome extensions that might be conflicting with the canvas in some way. Quickest way to test this is to open a new chrome instance in a guest profile.
Use chrome - we don't officially support any other browser (or variation like Arc, Brave, etc) however, most of our team uses these browsers too and we don't usually see anything big with them, but its best to test in the true chrome browser to see if that helps.
With the first one, once you are done with the majority of your edits, you can move those pages back into a single sitemap and then export to Figma or Webflow seamlessly. Or if you need to get client approval - just merge them back together by dragging pages around from sitemap to sitemap. If you dont want to do this, you'll need to move a sitemap to the top in order to export to Figma/Webflow as you can only export the top sitemap within those respective plugins. Hope this helps but if it doesn't please let me know - I'm here to help!
