Hello Lumers, I鈥檓 wondering if anyone has good Relume components to use for a Attorney profile page. Something comprehensive that contains headshot, title, contact (this could be used on a Our Team page card too), then detailed sections like Experience, Accolades, Areas of Specialty, etc. Basically, a pretty comprehensive Profile page.
Cesar I wonder if using a links page would get you at least 80% there and then you could use our copy ui elements feature on the preview page and copy/paste in other elements from a different links page component and get you probably 90% and then you'd just take it from there. https://www.relume.io/preview?cid=links-pages/section_links8
with these two, feels pretty close yeah?
Thanks for the response Matt J., I don鈥檛 think I鈥檝e ever checked out the Links components. I鈥檓 not sure that I think those layouts really fit the bill. I鈥檓 trying to figure out the quickest way to build out something like this, but using Relume components. https://www.lw.com/en/people/douglas-abernethy
Lawyers tend to include a lot of information in their profile pages. At least, that鈥檚 what my client is expecting.
Thanks Matt. The link I sent is a general concept (I鈥檓 not a fan of the image anchored to the left and vertical section titles are not necessary. But basically, a profile summary at the top with portrait. Then sections for different areas of expertise.
Cesar okay, I put something together only using Relume components that matches somewhat to the example - where I think you'll probably want to change up will be the sections but I think I've painted the picture of what is possible. I got hung up for like 10-15 minutes on trying to get the subnav to be sticky and thought Finsweet had something for that but wasn't able to find anything that was quick - some custom JS or maybe even an interaction would likely be the path forward for that. https://webflow.com/made-in-webflow/website/profile-b90eac You can clone this and modify it - copy page-wrapper into your existing project. I left all the component names in there so you can see what I did. A really underrated and under used section of our Webflow library is the UI Elements - there are a lot of ways to build out custom components using most of what is there. https://www.relume.io/ui-elements
I don't get to Webflow often so this was fun for me, even if its not something you use. It gets pretty close though. If your intent was to simply provide us feedback for a gap in our library - totally get it, really appreciate that feedback - makes total sense to have something like that for sure. I just know it'll be several months before we'd see anything so figured I'd see what I could put together for ya
Whoa Matt, I didn鈥檛 expect this! Maybe a few component suggestions at most but thanks so much! It did cross my mind that the hero you made would be a handy component to have for this project, but I was really just asking for some ideas on how to build it using existing component elements. I鈥檓 curious if you happened to use all Relume components to build the profile hero section.
You didn鈥檛 happen to record a video did you?
Matt J. I鈥檓 not sure what鈥檚 happening, but when I clone the Profile Template it鈥檚 a totally different layout in Webflow. I can rebuild it for my needs but I鈥檓 still curious as to why the layout doesn鈥檛 clone as a, well, clone. Here鈥檚 a screenshot of what the cloned version in Webflow looks like.
What in the world! That is crazy
