Installing React Components in Webflow: A Beginner's Guide

Hi there, Very new to relume and webflow. Sorry for the silly question but I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere. For all components that use React. How do you install the npm package in webflow as it doesn’t show up in the apps section? Many thanks for your help in advance

Barry W. as far as I know, Webflow and React are two different things and I dont believe there's any way for them to connect. We've built two separate libraries. So which library are you wanting to use - Webflow or React?

Hi Matt J., thank you for your reply. So, I may be a little confused here. when looking at a lot of the gallery sections such as "Gallery 10" I see now it says also available on React and Figma. I though you might need React in order for the functionality to work. because if i paste this section into Webflow, the Lightbox doesn't work and i presumed it would probably scroll or have some sort of interesting animation but it's just static. Is there something obvious i am missing. Apologise, I'm trying to figure this stuff out in spare time of which i don't have too much these days and it's been years since I did anything like this :)

Barry W. no apologies necessary - we're all learning together! No so the reason this doesn't work in Webflow is because you'll need to populate the media and replace the images with something before the lightbox will work. And if you want all the lightboxes to connect, you'll just use the same word in the field I've pointed to. I sometimes just keep it simple and say "gallery". Once you do all this, it should work as expected.
