Is it possible to access community shared libraries from within Relume? (site or extension?) Or is a direct link shared by the owner themselves the only way to use a community shared library? We are working on creating a library of components for CartGenie. I assumed that it would be discoverable by anybody inside of Relume but it doesn't appear that is the case? Please let me know if I've missed anything!
Also, is it possible to access your own libraries from within the site builder? I'd like to add to a wireframe
Patrick M. need a direct link and unfortunately not possible to access your custom libraries within site builder for a lot of technical reasons - great feedback though - really appreciate this!
Thanks Matt J.! That is unfortunate as our desired flow was something like:
Use Relume site builder
Either Relume auto pulls in CartGenie template for ecommerce if mentioned in prompt (obviously would take a more in-depth integration with your platform)
Or user manually adds in wireframe stage from their custom library
Relume styles and creates the site
Is there any way to get a similar flow to this? Or is this something your team would be open to discussing? We already have a designer extension with all of our components available for free through it. So its unfortunately not worth us paying the Relume subscription just to host the same components in a community library if it isn't more deeply integrated. Let me know if you'd like to chat through it!
Yeah unfortunately not something that is on our radar at the moment - there's a ton of work that goes on behind the scenes to prep each component and each element to be used within the Relume Site Builder. Based on your tech stack and workflow it doesn't sound like Relume would be the best fit, as you have mentioned.
Got it - thanks for the info! If you decide to add 3rd party libraries into your site builder definitely let us know. We really like Relume and we'd like to make it super simple for people to use CartGenie within their current Relume workflow. A couple clients have already asked about it.
Also a place to discover publicly shared libraries as well would be nice.
