Best Practices for Renaming Relume Components in Webflow

Hi everyone, after adding your relume components to your Webflow build, do you rename them so that they don’t have random names like banner14_component? I would love to know the best practices for this case, thank you!

Mélissa '. for sure - install the Finsweet chrome extension and use the folders feature. Here is documentation on the why. https://finsweet.com/client-first/docs/folders-strategy#power-renaming-with-finsweet-extension

One last question: best practice is to rename everything at once after the project is done or to rename as we build? Matt J.

Best to rename as you build - lets say you are using layout1 for multiple pages - it’ll be hard to rename both of those. You can rename based on a single page or project but if you are using the same layout Ona single page, it’ll be nearly impossible to rename uniquely.

I actually like to leave the relume section names and consider them as ID-s. Especially if I put everything into Webflow components. This way I can name those uniquely instead.
