Understanding How Relume Calculates Color Palettes

Hey all! Is there a way to know how relume calculates the color palettes? I need to generate shade values but cant log in since another team member is using the account

Alana C. hmm no way to accurately predict that at the moment from my understanding as we use AI to determine that. If you provide the Relume project URL, I could duplicate it and export to Figma for you so you have all the values that are set in that project?

I have our Figma export, but our designer created additional color variables outside of the 6 values from Relume 😅 So I wanted to quickly generate the shade values for those if we needed them. I could just coordinate access with my colleague so I dont keep kicking them out haha, but was curious for any other workarounds

ah I gotchya - makes total sense. I'm sure there is some sort of method to the madness - its a really great question. I know for me personally I have a method for creating shades that makes it somewhat predictable and consist using HSB and adjusting the brightness. Sure would be nice to have something similar to be honest.

Alana C. not ideal, but could you use ChatGPT to generate a similar set of colour values from your chosen colour? You’d have to input or screen shot your current Relume set too match it I guess.

Actually, you can use this prompt, just used it and it seems to work: Using the relume colour swatch creator give me a set of colour values using the colour [insert your value] as the starting point.
