Hi everyone. A quick workflow question from me: I've used Relume for site map an wireframe for a client project. I've used the Relume app to take the wireframe into Figma. Once in Figma, I've done all the design work (I know this can be done in Relume (sort of), but it's much quicker and thorough in Figma). I'm now ready for building in Webflow. My question: is it best to use the Figma -> Webflow app to import the designs, or is it better to use the Relume app to import the wireframes into Webflow, and then go through and match the pages to the Figma design? I don't want to duplicate work, but I also don't want to lose Relume's component framework.
Benjamin L. the latter option - Relume app > wireframes > webflow. The Figma to Webflow app was built by Webflow Labs and does not adhere to any kind of system or framework. It just spits out random divs and spacing. Not ideal really. This is the workflow I've deployed over a few hundred websites and it works well.
Thanks Matt. Do you do anything to help speed up the process of copying design assets/styles out of Figma into webflow? I know fonts, colour, ui styles can be done straight on the style guide page which helps..
Benjamin L. yeah aside from the style guide and design tab, when exported to Webflow, that's about as far as we go with speeding up the design process. Though I would say it does get you, in most cases, about 75% there. There are a few nuances that we have limitations on today, thus the need for Figma but yeah that's the gist really.
