Hi everyone, I've had this issue when I import wireframes in which the content doesn't update in Figma to the latest version of what is on Relume. I tried to solve this in a few ways: 1. Importing the wireframes into a new Figma file. 2. Erasing the imported wireframes and re-importing them in the same Figma file. No luck. My boss keeps telling me the content is incorrect, si I can't trust the wireframes that get imported to Figma anymore. I don't have an option to export the wireframes from Relume as JPGs to make sure the content is correct and make a side-by-side comparison. Does anyone know a workaround or way to troubleshoot this issue?
Ana T. Gosh Ana, that sounds incredibly frustrating. Very sorry for the issues here. I'll do some testing to see if I can replicate this. One potential workaround that is not super ideal but you can test it out and let me know is copying/pasting the pages 1-by-1. Not sure how big your project is, so this might be a completely unreasonable workaround. I typically handle copy edits further down the process line - either in Figjam or Webflow/Pastel but I realize that everyone's workflows can be different. Content is one of the most painful pieces, so I can imagine how painful it has been when it doesn't import correctly too. I'll see what I can find.
Thank you @Matt. I just did a test, copying and pasting the legal page, it always comes back with Loren Ipsum (not as it is in Relume). Tbh I also messed up content on other pages, so, it's also human error. Yeah, the workflow is broken because my boss does the Relume part, including updates in those wireframes and I do all the Figma part. But thank you for the help. These are 20+ page websites, so, I'll just do side-by-side comparison
ahh okay hmm it might be the rich text field elements - those have not been reliable for a very long time - its not as simple as it sounds actually - very complicated.
The legal page is likely one big rich text field within the webflow component, blog posts would also not work. Are there are other components or element types that you are noticing where copy is not importing?
yeah totally get it - the process is locked in for you guys
if you are doing side-by-side, it might be worth just copy/pasting the content over - just saying that makes me so sad though. ugh
I wonder if understanding which elements to look out for that might not import correctly would at least build back your confidence that the process works 90% of the time?
Got it. Yes, I'm copying and pasting each paragraph where needed. I'll also ask him to avoid those components (legal page...), maybe use other ones because it definitely slows down the process. Thank you Matt. Also, there's another component that I've had issues with: Layout 121. It's like a step by step section. That's what I can think of, from the top of my head rn.
