Hey Dan Kaleb J. Adam M., how does Smootify compare with Shopiflow? We’ve quoted Shopiflow into a project and will be kicking off work on that part of it soon, just wondering if Smootify might be a better choice!

It's funny this has just come up - I'm currently carrying out a technical review and I had mentioned to my client shopify > smootify > webflow. I've set a member of my team the task of looking at the connection, it's very interesting. My main concern is using a third party on such a cornerstone functionality and the risk involved, this partnership does make me feel a bit better, however I'd be interested to know your opinion on them and their team Dan, given you've decided to partner up. Are they established? Are they in it for the long haul?

Tim D. Aaron K. While I'm not familiar with the specifics of Shopiflow, I know it's a tool similar to ours. Our team at Udesly, a project with over 25K users since its inception in 2018, has extensive experience in integrating third-party software with Webflow. Shopify's recent updates prompted us to develop a new Shopify tool that's more powerful and user-friendly. We chose Relume for building our components (thanks to Dan 's unwavering support), and we employ Client-First principles in creating our free templates and UI elements. Salman C. Our library is built with native Relume elements, preserving their original styling. To integrate them seamlessly into our system, we've simply added DOM elements or custom attributes to make them fully compatible with Shopify. Since a Figma version of Relume components already exists, we deemed it unnecessary to create another one. However, for upcoming advanced features like review systems and wishlists, we may introduce a Figma UI Kit encompassing all our components.

Tim D. The official Shopify App (with CMS Server Plan included) is being reviewed by the Shopify App Store Team and should be available in the next few days.

Tim D., just an update about your question! Our app has been approved and is now listed on the official Shopify App Store. This means you can finally use the functionality to sync your Webflow CMS with Shopify using our server-side functionality (available with the new Server Plan). https://apps.shopify.com/smootify

Sara M. great question! Consider that the first Webflow Ecommerce Plan with 0% transaction fee is the Plus Plan ($74 - billed yearly). To run a fully functional Shopify store with Smootify you need:
1.
Shopify Basic Plan ($29/month - billed yearly)
2.
Webflow CMS Plan ($23/month - billed yearly)
3.
Smootify Lite Plan ($9/month - billed yearly)
Total: $60/month - billed yearly. 0% transaction fee. 2K CMS items. If you need more items you can switch the Weblow CMS Plan with the Business Plan (choosing the size you need).

Sara M. Yes, if we're only talking about fixed costs (in which case you would only need to pay the Shopify Basic plan). But certainly, developing a custom site from scratch entirely in Shopify has much longer development times (and therefore much higher fees) compared to realizing the project with Webflow and Smootify.

This is HUGE! Very helpful. We’ve done some Shopify + Webflow builds in the past but didn’t love the outcomes, it worked but not very clean. I’m excited to check this Smootify out for a current client we’re working on a new Shopify + Webflow build for. 🤙🎉

Thanks Tullio — I’ve actually just completed setup of a Shopyflow integration (this project was scoped / costed prior to my knowledge of Smootify), so when I get a chance I will do the same bare-bones setup in Smootify and can give you some feedback if you like,

Hey Tullio! I am scoping a Shopify Plus project with a Webflow Design and was wondering if Smootify would work as well with a Shopify Plus shop as it does with a regular Shopify project. The project also needs to enable conditional visibility on the prices depending on whether the user is logged in or logged out. Is this possible? Thanks a lot!

Robert H. Sara M. The Smootify Lite Plan is perfect for a single-product or small ecommerce store. For a one-product shop, you can combine the Shopify Basic Plan ($29), Webflow Basic Plan ($14), and Smootify Lite Plan ($9) for a total of $52 per month/ billed annually. No transaction fees.
