WoW. Could sb remember me why should I use Shopify instead of integrated ecommerce functionalities in Webflow? π© π¦
For anyone interested, here is a brief guide (3 short videos) on how to create a Shopify Store entirely in Webflow using this Relume Library in just a few minutes (not days!). https://youtu.be/uN3eOGVWOlk?si=eSpoiA0bcrk1rZ7J
It's funny this has just come up - I'm currently carrying out a technical review and I had mentioned to my client shopify > smootify > webflow. I've set a member of my team the task of looking at the connection, it's very interesting. My main concern is using a third party on such a cornerstone functionality and the risk involved, this partnership does make me feel a bit better, however I'd be interested to know your opinion on them and their team Dan, given you've decided to partner up. Are they established? Are they in it for the long haul?
Definitely got me excited though. Shopify + Webflow is going to be massive.
Tim D. Aaron K. While I'm not familiar with the specifics of Shopiflow, I know it's a tool similar to ours. Our team at Udesly, a project with over 25K users since its inception in 2018, has extensive experience in integrating third-party software with Webflow. Shopify's recent updates prompted us to develop a new Shopify tool that's more powerful and user-friendly. We chose Relume for building our components (thanks to Dan 's unwavering support), and we employ Client-First principles in creating our free templates and UI elements. We also offer a range of premium add-ons for advanced functionalities. So, I can say that these are the key differentiators: Relume Components: Leverage the power of Relume for building robust and customizable components. Client-First Approach: Our templates and UI elements are built with a Client-First approach, ensuring a seamless user experience. Premium Add-ons: a suite of premium add-ons for advanced functionalities. There is important upcoming news too. The official Smootify app will soon be available on the Shopify App Store, offering complete server-side synchronization and new server add-ons (reviews, wishlist, Shopify newsletter integration, product files upload and much more). All Smootify features (current and upcoming) will be fully customizable with Webflow & Relume.
My very own portfolio website uses some Relume components! I absolutely love what you guys are doing π www.anast.art
Salman C. Our library is built with native Relume elements, preserving their original styling. To integrate them seamlessly into our system, we've simply added DOM elements or custom attributes to make them fully compatible with Shopify. Since a Figma version of Relume components already exists, we deemed it unnecessary to create another one. However, for upcoming advanced features like review systems and wishlists, we may introduce a Figma UI Kit encompassing all our components.
