I'm so confused - what does this email mean?
Reminder: The legacy Editor migration starts today
You're receiving this email because you currently use the legacy Editor to access and update your website. Starting today, we've begun the two-week process to automatically provide legacy Editor users access to free client seats as part of Webflow’s legacy Editor deprecation. Below is an overview of what you need to know and do next.Starting May 4, 2026
Within the next two weeks, you’ll receive an email inviting you to join your freelancer or agency’s Workspace through a client seat — your new way to access and edit your site. You’ll be prompted to set up a new Webflow login as your legacy Editor login won’t carry over.
At this point, nothing changes with your legacy Editor access. You’ll still be able to access your site using the legacy Editor prior to August 4, 2026. This gives you time to get comfortable with the new experience before fully transitioning away from the old one.
What to do
Once you receive the email to join your freelancer or agency’s Workspace, follow the link to accept the invite and create a new Webflow login.Learn more →
Starting August 4, 2026
The legacy Editor and your legacy Editor user account will no longer be available. This won’t impact your live site.
To access and edit your site moving forward, you’ll need to sign in onwebflow.com/loginand use the role from your client seat.
Thank you for your partnership as we continue with this transition.
