Practice gsap in webflow starter plan

At a glance

The community members are discussing how to use GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform) on a Webflow Starter plan. Some community members suggest it may not be possible, as the Starter plan restricts the use of custom code embeds. Others recommend putting the GSAP script in the site code instead of an embed, as that is the recommended approach. However, there is no clear consensus or explicitly marked answer on how to effectively practice GSAP on a Webflow Starter plan.

How do i practice gsap in webflow starter plan 😩 😩

@Saba Khadim hmm I guess its not possible. I can't really think of any ways at the moment because I'm assuming you also can't use the "custom code embed" element either, right?

Yes I cant. We were able to add code in the page settings before but not anymore. Who decided to restrict this for starters 😩

not sure, that's on Webflow unfortunately, sorry that it has effected you

Now SABA you can't, you have to buy a webflow subscription then you can add the code to the site. @Saba Khadim

@Saba Khadim, you should be able to put all your script in slater and then, copy the slater script on the code of your site, not in an embed (you should never add GSAp script on embed by the way, always on the page or site code)

Oh why is that @Amélie Guider ? So that it loads before the html and prevents glitches? What about the defer attribute?
