For those of you doing website care and maintenance plans — how are you actually managing the delivery side of it?
I've been growing my care plan base and the work itself is fine, but the reporting and communication around it is eating my time. Every month I'm pulling speed scores, checking uptime, writing up what I did, and trying to make it all look presentable before I send it off. It's a lot of manual work for something that should be simpler.
I'm also running into the thing where clients forget what they're even paying for, and then you're having that awkward conversation about value three months in.
Would love to know how you handle this stuff. Do you send reports? Do your clients have a way to see what's going on with their site? Is there a tool out there that actually does this well, or are we all just stitching together five different things and hoping it holds?
