I’m trying to use the new timelines but having trouble with Timeline 13. I’ve followed the instructions to give the previous section div a BG color, and a z-2 class. The line that is supposed to follow the scroll isn’t appearing. If I apply a color it just becomes a solid line without any scroll effect. Am I missing something?
My goal is to 1) see the actual line progress effect, and 2) be able to control its coloration (gradient as in the oft-duplicated Relume clone)
Relume blog components use link blocks and Finsweet requires form elements — Relume does not provide documentation for creating filters using the link block structure, and Finsweet does not provide documentation for how to set up CMS filters without forms. Relume references other Finsweet functionality, but not basic filtering (see image)…
I’ve now gone through Finsweets written documentation and a 1 1/2 hour video… spent maybe 5 hours in total and I can’t even get the most basic category filtering for blog posts to work. I’ve also searched for CMS filtering in the Issues channel here, and while there are a lot of questions about this, nobody else seems to think it’s strange that your blog template category filters don’t correspond to Finsweet filtering … ❓
If there is a particular Relume blog component I can start with to overcome this, please let me know. As of now I’ve deleted the component for a project as it turned into a bit of a mess as I was trying different options.
My preferred solution would be to use Relume’s component library as it’s designed without having to redesign or restructure everything, but I don’t understand why it’s been designed not to work with Finsweet in the first place?
Is there a way to create basic View All and category filtering using the structure provided by Relume? And should this be built on the CMS Blog Categories template page for best practice or can it be a separate Blog page?
I’m using Blog Post Header 3 which includes “Share this post” buttons. I’m trying to create the blog post CMS template with copy to clipboard and share-to functionality.
Finsweet has documentation for share to socials, and copy static string to clipboard. But documentation for copying the dynamic is missing:
Some problems:
Hey, class sync isn’t working for me. It’s saying there are “cross-site” issues and it’s creating duplicates of pre-existing classes (with the same name) instead of just adopting the same-named class and style. I’ve disabled / re-enabled, still broken.
