Designing a Simple Homepage: Typical Timeline

At a glance

The community member posted a question about how long it typically takes to design a simple homepage with around 10 sections. In the comments, one community member suggested using Relume in less than a day, assuming the person or their team is familiar with Webflow or Figma. Another community member asked if the original poster has used Relume and/or Webflow before. A third community member provided estimates for designing a simple homepage in Figma, ranging from 4-6 hours for an advanced Figma user to 10-12 hours for an intermediate Figma user, with the time doubling for beginners. However, there is no explicitly marked answer in the comments.

Hi all,
Iโ€™m curious about how long it typically takes to design a simple homepage with around 10 sections. Thanks!

Hey Mariana ๐Ÿ‘‹

You could accomplish this using Relume in less than a day, assuming you or someone on your team knows their way around Webflow or Figma.

have you used Relume and/or Webflow before?

Advanced figma user, complex design - 8-10 hrs
Intermediate figma user, complex design - 14-16 hrs

Advanced figma user, simple design - 4-6 hr
Intermediate figma user, simple/minimal design - 10-12 hrs

Beginner for any of these is double. Just my opinions.
