Hey guys. I'm trying to use the new Design tab and wanting to edit my color schemes. However, when I click to edit one OR if I create a new one, it only lets me edit the background color. All of the other options (text, foreground, etc) have a lock icon next to them and I can't edit them. Please help!
Also, one more question...is it possible to redo the AI portion of the Design tab feature where it automatically assigns color schemes to each section?
Logan Glad you pointed this out! I think it's not obvious enough that this is not a feature that is available yet 🙂 It is the same for everyone. If you change the background color, it will automatically update all the other colors for you 👍🏻 For now, we don't allow granular control of each individual variable for each scheme. Turns out that's a big undertaking to do well but it's on our roadmap 💪🏻 Regarding red the AI portion of the Design tab. Yes, if you go back to the Style Guide, duplicate the Concept and re-open Design view, it will re-apply all your schemes. Want to let me know if that works for you?
Kaleb J. thanks so much for getting back to me and sharing insight. Regarding the Design tab "Redo": I've tried duplicating the concept from the Style Guide tab and going back to the Design tab but it doesn't apply any new color schemes to any of the sections. I made a Loom here: https://www.loom.com/share/6e7349c0fcf14ad281e7adf71b1ab4ae?sid=bde8df00-7f6c-4608-bc26-e52ebfe9b942 Is this normal behavior or a bug? Thanks!
Logan Ohhh interesting. I have shared this with the team and asked if there is a way around this. It seems you've basically found an edge case we haven't accounted for! Thanks so much for pointing this out. I will get back to you on this as soon as the team has shared a workaround! Hang tight.
Ok! Logan in the meantime, maybe give this a shot >> https://www.loom.com/share/9f863a0fb856484f8b3ce1994d2cd2c6?sid=4e7ffc21-60d3-4354-92e6-10b8c3477196
