Updating an Old Style Guide for Webflow with Relume.io

Hello everyone, I tested out over a year ago and just designed an okayish webflow site which I want to redesign now. But I can't use the Relume App to Import the components to my Webflow site because the style guide is too old. How am I able to update it?

Dominik you would have to use the Webflow Library or chrome extension or you can copy/paste pages/components from Site Builder into the webflow site.

Does that mean I can’t update the Style Guide directly?

When I do copy from the Site Builder to the webflow Site I get messages like this: Paste Renamed 9 classes and 2 interactions in order to avoid conflicts. I have the Chrome Extension installed.

correct - there's no way for you to update the style guide directly.

its a limitation of Webflow unfortunately, not much we can really do here.

I bought the basic plan for my site. If I clone the Relume StyleGuide I have to pay the basic plan another time. You can’t be serious

you can transfer webflow site plans pretty quickly and easily if you have a paid webflow workspace

most settings as well as the domain/DNS settings instantly transfer

if you are using the CMS, you can export your collections and then import them into a new site

but ultimately, I wasn't suggesting starting over - the only thing you are losing out on is being able to import all of your pages using our webflow app - you can still copy/paste components, pages, etc. If you received duplicate class messages, make sure that your preferences match your style guide version. https://www.relume.io/resources/docs/updating-existing-projects

I have to start over anyway so that’s not a problem. Unfortunately I didn’t see this document

well if you have to start over this document isn't very useful anyway but if this doc is what is pushing you to start over then I think you are probably better off anyway since the v3.0 is a really massive update from previous style guides because its supporting variables and a few other key new Webflow features.
