Hey everyone! I am using the Finsweet Filters for this and it is really slow... As it is a personal project and I haven't had as much time as I hoped to devote to it this was the quickest solution I could come up with. Anyone know what the issue could be or have a better solution for me? TIA https://www.discoverarosa.ch/en/busfahrplan
A possible cause of slowness could be large items to filter, you can create a simple filter function that hides all items that don't match the filter criteria. Also, I noticed you have a good idea, but the contents of the page is too vague, if you are looking beyond just having a page, but also want your page to meet your desired conversion goal, you should add more converting sections to your page to build trust. People don't buy wonderful ideas, they buy trust & you can fathom that in your page for it to be effective.
Hi Laura-Rose W. I’m not sure if we’re talking about the same use case, but I had a similar issue with loading CMS items — I had around 2,000 on a single page, and it was really slow. However, when I clicked on the pagination (if you have it enabled) and pressed the button shown in the screenshot, the loading speed improved significantly.
Thank you for your responses. I do have the pagination turned on and that helped but I still find it very slow. The conversion doesn't really matter as it was done basically just as a favour for our local Community. I am just concerned as with the Winter season coming up it will be about another 2000 items which will be added.
