Getting Started with Relume: Customizing Layout Components Explained
hi! I'm new to Relume, what an exciting platform. My use case is building and iterating on a marketing site wireframe while also evaluating moving over to Webflow from a diff platform (a migration is likely not possible in the short term, but Relume still seemed to be a way to rapidly iterate on content and layout). I wanted to understand the principles around layout components โ I looks like there are many components available for pages, sections, and variants within, and that it's possible to remove certain elements or expand on extensible elements like lists in some cases. The issue I'm a little confused about is the limits on component customization. I just got started and wanted to do a few things like duplicate a text area, reflow a stats box from 2 column to 1, etc., or even create a custom component. I realize components may reflect the real-world capabilities of Webflow components and perhaps those are only customizable to an extent? Or is it just a limitation on Relume? If I customize my Relume Figma library's layout components would they become available in Relume? Again I'm not a current Webflow customer but from using other low code hosting platforms I assume total customization of the blocks I guess? Thanks for your patience as I get my mental model up to date!
