Hi! Your advice please. I have an agency. We have been all WordPress. With the "Relume process" we are looking at offering WebFlow sites. Do you have any advice on how to get started with webflow? Maybe that's a too generic question. I'm trying to understand both how big the effort will be from a technical standpoint and also if we should apply for a webflow partnership, the first thing we do. Thanks for any guidance here.
Hey Anders, It kind of depends on a bunch of things. First one is how comfortable your devs and designers already are with HTML, CSS, and JS. If they know that stuff well, the Webflow learning curve is way gentler. To your question though, yeah, it takes a while to really get good at Webflow. And your success with the Relume process is basically tied to how well you’ve nailed two things: Webflow itself, and Client First. If you’re running an agency, I’m guessing the goal is always a strong end product. To get there, you need real expertise, not just surface level familiarity. Webflow isn’t a click and drag no code toy. It’s visual web development that maps to real code concepts. Relume assumes you already know Webflow inside out. If you don’t, the results can be… meh. And we’ve seen a lot of that lately, sadly. So yeah, it’s not something you pick up from a couple of YouTube vids and a stroll through Webflow University. Getting to agency level mastery takes some time and reps.
Having said that… once you’re there, Webflow + Relume is a power house! For agencies is a gift from heaven.
That's really good input. We are to be honest not a technical web agency. Rather a marketing agency with many WordPress sites under our belt. HTML, CSS, no problem. We have always avoided coding in JS and definitely not PHP. We "build" sites by configuring WP and the Avada theme. But I find that a clunky "old" process. That's why I'm looking at this.
We use Relume and Figma in the early stages of the project. But then start from zero to implement "manually" in WP.
I see. How much do you rely on plugins for your clients websites? I mean wp plugins
Not a lot apart from the odd "redirect URL plug-in". We build B2B (mainly non-e-com) sites. Avada covers what we need.

You’re welcome mate.
Miguel pointed the most things out. A good preparing is essential. What functions do you need for your project and then make a plan for your site. 🙂
